Did you know...
Rosemary is an evergreen perennial shrub native to the Mediterranean region, Portugal and Spain. It has silvery, needle-like foliage and delicate flowers. Blue, pink or white varieties are available, and they range in habit from creeping to mounding to upright.
Long known as the herb of remembrance, rosemary symbolizes loyalty and friendship, and has traditionally been associated with both weddings and funerals. Believing the gift came from Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, brides wore it in wreaths as a symbol of their fidelity.

There you are!!
oooh, i love rosemary. even have some in my garden. and yes, nice to see you back again.
Rosemary is the girl who sat next to me in the first grade, and wanted to have babies with me as the father.
The 'babies' were made of plastic.
Aphrodite is the heroine in one of my favorite books (when I was drinking) by Pierre Louys called "SONGS OF BILITIS"...I do not even recall what it was about, but DO know I liked it.
My wife puts rosemary sprigs in the linen closet. It smells great. And she arranges the shoots in with summer flowers like zinnias. Glad to read your blog.
